Occupational Therapy — Coming Soon to Melbourne’s West

  • Occupational therapy is a practical, person-centered therapy focused on helping you participate in the "occupations" of everyday life—from self-care and daily routines to social participation and community access. It provides the guidance, environment adaptations, and skill-building tools needed to enhance your independence, manage sensory needs, and overcome barriers, ensuring you can live a more functional, confident, and meaningful life.

  • Occupational Therapy offers numerous benefits by focusing on the practical "how-to" of daily living. It provides a supportive environment to identify barriers to independence and develop personalized strategies to overcome them. Through targeted interventions, Occupational Therapy helps individuals improve their physical and cognitive skills, manage sensory processing needs, and adapt their home or community environments for better access. Additionally, it fosters greater autonomy and confidence, supporting overall well-being by empowering individuals to engage more fully in the activities that matter most to them.

  • We are here to help you improve your overall independence and quality of life by identifying practical solutions for daily challenges. Common reasons that people seek Occupational Therapy include:

    • Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) for NDIS plan reviews

    • Daily Living Skills such as personal care, cooking, and budgeting

    • Sensory Processing Support and emotional regulation strategies

    • Home Modifications to improve safety and accessibility

    • Assistive Technology and equipment prescription
