We are proud to announce that Gibelli Positive Pathways has officially crossed the border. Following our successful launches in Adelaide, Perth, and Melbourne, we are now bringing our practitioner-led, neuro-affirming Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) to the communities of New South Wales.

With immediate capacity for NDIS participants across Sydney, Western Sydney, and the Illawarra, we are ready to help families navigate the complexities of behaviour support with clinical integrity and heart.

Navigating the NSW "RPA" Landscape

NSW has a unique and rigorous approach to safeguarding. Unlike other states, New South Wales utilizes a specific Restrictive Practices Authorisation (RPA) System. At Gibelli, we understand that for many providers and families, the "RPA Portal" can feel like a maze.

Our practitioners are experts in the NSW-specific requirements, including:

• RPA Panel Submissions: We don't just write plans; we lead the way in ensuring all regulated restrictive practices are properly authorized through the NSW DCJ framework.

• Proactive Reduction: In line with the NSW Senior Practitioner’s goals for 2026, our focus remains on the "Least Restrictive" model—building skills that eventually make restrictions unnecessary.

After seeing the impact of our high-integrity clinical model, we are now taking the next step in our national growth by establishing a dedicated NSW clinical hub.

Clinical Excellence and Local Expertise

Expansion into a new state requires more than just a presence; it requires a deep understanding of local safeguarding and legislative frameworks. We are currently finalizing our NSW team, focusing on senior practitioners who are experts in:

• NSW DCJ Safeguarding: Seamlessly navigating the Restrictive Practices Authorisation (RPA) portal.

• Evidence-Based Transitions: Moving beyond standard reporting to provide robust, data-driven Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs).

• Collaborative Support: Working alongside local Support Coordinators and Plan Managers to ensure wrap-around care.
